Angela Sun
Angela Sun is an American journalist, presenter on television and sportscaster as well as a documentary film maker. Angela Sun was born on September 19, 1979 at Santa Clara County California. She has won awards for her work as a journalist, sportscaster and actor. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology and communication at the University of California. Sun's surfing ability was exceptional and she was a part of numerous pro-am tournaments. She was sponsored by major brands, such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The recognition she got from this acted like a slingshot that launched her into the business of entertainment. Then, she went into the field of filmmaker, reporter for investigative reporting and sportscaster. Sun has worked as anchor of news for various channels. She was an anchor for Fox Sports Net in 2003. Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. In 2012 she hosted American Ninja Warrior with Matt Iseman & Jonny Moseley. Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute for the year 2014. She's the first Asian American personality to be featured as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun is a regular in a number of movies and received fame and praise for her acting prowess. She has worked in movies like Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014- 2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). In 2014, Sun came out with Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch the full-length documentary on the effects of plastic pollution in the oceans and the impact it has on the natural environment. She wrote and directed and produced herself.
