Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. At the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games and she was the first gymnast to earn three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles lived within Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics as an infant in a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the next eleven years. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the top level of gymnastics in the year 2011. The following year, Biles dominated the sport. What set Biles apart was the consistency of her fun-loving personality, and the extreme level of effort she put into her routines throughout the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars balance beam and floor exercises.
